Research and Development Veteran Mark Fullerton Joins Management

QuantumSphere is pleased to announce it has appointed Mark Fullerton to the position of Senior Research and Development Scientist.

“Fullerton brings tremendous experience and credibility with customers to QuantumSphere. His extensive experience and knowledge of the multiple disciplines of chemistry, physics, optics, microscopy and spectroscopy makes him perfectly suited to assume the role as QuantumSphere’s Senior Research and Development Scientist,” said Kevin Maloney, CEO, QuantumSphere, Inc. “As we proceed to experience significant customer demand for our products, Fullerton will help us further capitalize on these opportunities by leveraging his expertise to scale our manufacturing processes to meet customer demand.”

Fullerton brings us more than 25 years of industrial experience in product development, analytical research and technical support for manufacturing and customers. His previous work included the formulation and process development of dry-film photoresists, operations experience with scanning electron microscopy, x-ray spectroscopy, IR and NMR spectroscopy. Fullerton held a variety of positions at Dynachem Corp., a Rohm and Haas (NYSE: ROH) specialty chemical company, where he served as: Senior Technician; Associate Chemist; Chemist; Senior Chemist; Project Leader; Associate Scientist; Scientist; and Senior Scientist. In his past position, Fullerton’s previous interests included: investigating the causes of variation in buried resistors for a Passives Materials group where he developed a statistical template for the measurement of process capability; and the invention of a non-destructive small-defect detection system for use in the high-speed web-coating process used to manufacture photoresist. Fullerton received his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of California, Irvine.
