California State Assembly Woman Bonnie Garcia Visits QuantumSphere Headquarters in Santa Ana

Earlier this month California State Assembly Woman Bonnie Garcia paid a special visit to QuantumSphere headquarters in Santa Ana to meet with CEO Kevin Maloney and learn more about how the company is impacting the industry – and the rest of the world. Garcia was given a hands-on tour of our facility, where she was able to talk with various employees about their roles with QuantumSphere, and view daily operations. She was then given an up-close demonstration in our lab of the various nano applications we work on, and our research and development team and executives thoroughly explained renewable energy and other applications for our nanomaterials.

Garcia was interested in QSI-Nano™ metals and alloys in response to the need for a disruptive solution to cost and performance with proven durability in a wide range of commercial applications. Maloney also discussed the company and how it is leveraging its market position to manufacture and ship high performance catalyst materials and electrode devices for batteries, micro fuel cells for portable power, and hydrogen generation and storage, among others.

Garcia is the co-author of legislation that will institute a “pay as you go” approach for funding much-needed infrastructure projects across California – a plan to build now, build more and spend less. Her interest in QuantumSphere validates the need for businesses within the state to support her legislation, as well as QuantumSphere’s leading role within its industry.
