QuantumSphere— A Leading Producer and Supplier of Nano Catalysts
for Renewable, Non-Polluting Energy— To Be Featured on History Channel’s
Modern Marvels Program
2-Hour Show Airs Tuesday, December 28, 2004, 9p.m. ET/PT.
COSTA MESA, CA, U.S.A. -December 21, 2004– QuantumSphere, Inc., announced
it will be featured on the December 28th episode of the History Channel’s
Modern Marvels television show. Modern Marvels celebrates technological breakthroughs,
man-made wonders and innovation brought to life on a grand scale. Modern Marvels
will feature QuantumSphere in the first hour of a two-hour special that will
examine the gathering storm of global warming, the end of the age of oil, and
companies, including QuantumSphere, that leverage nanotechnology to produce
and supply non-polluting, renewable energy sources. The news follows a previous
announcement that QuantumSphere has completed the buildout of a large-scale
reactor to produce and meet the demand for QuantumSphere’s unique nano
catalysts that will be used in clean energy devices to produce renewable sources
of power to supply the world’s energy needs.
"QuantumSphere’s appearance on Modern Marvels provides an excellent
way to draw attention to the value our products for applications that companies,
governments and ordinary people will use in their daily lives,” said
Kevin Maloney, CEO, QuantumSphere, Inc. Some of the markets QuantumSphere
will enter include: power for automobiles; remote, portable, and distributed
power generation; residential, industrial and commercial power systems; heavy
equipment; consumer electronics; and other government and military applications. “We
are extremely honored to have been selected for this show, which further
validates our technology and our stature as a premier supplier of nano materials
that will reduce the cost of fuel cell catalysts by up to 75% based on current
prices," Maloney added.
QuantumSphere’s segment was shot at the company’s manufacturing
plant in Costa Mesa, California. QuantumSphere is uniquely positioned to meet
the market needs, as the firm scales-up to produce some of the most effective
nano catalysts available. QuantumSphere’s exclusive manufacturing process
provides consistent, narrow particle size distribution, high purity, and commercial
quantities at volume prices.
